Sherri made the seemingly impossible possible

Sherri helped us move our young family twice within three years and provided the strong foundation of knowledge and advice that ensured we were making the best and most informed decision possible, not only for our family but for our financial well-being. Buying and selling a home is an incredibly personal and oftentimes emotional process. However there are details surrounding such transactions that are vital to the process and have very little to do with emotion. Sherri has a depth of knowledge of the real estate market in Fairfield County that is unmatched. We knew that she was constantly researching and bringing valuable information to us every step of the way. She treated us as family and was genuinely invested in our happiness and what the purchase of our home meant to us. Amazing Broker

Our family moved to New Canaan from upstate New York in 2017, and we were lucky enough to be introduced to Sherri when looking for a home!  We hadn’t decided if we would buy right away or rent first, but from the very first time we spoke with Sherri she was wonderful and able to help us to get a feel for the town and the market, both of which she knows intimately as a long time resident and real estate broker here.  This was to be our third home purchase, so we were very particular with both what we were looking for in a home as well as in our real estate broker, and we could not have been happier with Sherri!  We ended up looking for both rental homes and homes for sale on a couple of trips to town from out of state.  She was always extremely organized, had our interests in mind, and since we were new to the area, was also a very useful and informative tour guide as we drove from home to home.  She pointed out salient homeowner or rental concerns and was a wealth of information.

 

We ultimately decided to rent first, and Sherri tirelessly took us from house to house and helped us negotiate the rental that was going to work best for us. During our time in the rental, Sherri took us on countless viewings looking for homes to purchase when our lease was up - helping us hone what was important to us and narrow down what we really wanted – always making time for us, presenting us with homes in our style and budget, and even happily including our two young children.  We ended up resigning our lease and Sherri was always there and ready to show us homes throughout the entire time we spent looking, as accessible and helpful 2 years later as the first day we met her.  She never pushed us towards anything and always wanted to make sure decisions made were ones we were comfortable with.  When we ultimately found the home we wanted to purchase she was always available for discussions and negotiations (even on Mother’s Day!), bringing to our attention any issues we might have missed, whenever we needed her, and providing valuable information to help our decision making process.  She helped throughout the inspection and closing as well. We were so lucky to come across her and to have had someone as knowledgeable about her field and the town behind us every step of the way. Sherri is truly the best - we couldn’t be happier with both the home we bought and Sherri, the amazing broker who helped us the whole way along to get it!
